Accessibility Statement
We want AI Image Detector to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Perceivable
- Text and meaningful UI meet the AA contrast ratio (at least 4.5:1 for body text), in both the light and dark themes.
- All informative images have descriptive alternative text; purely decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
- The before/after Error Level Analysis comparison exposes its position as text (for example, "60% original, 40% ELA heatmap") to screen readers.
- Layouts are responsive and reflow without loss of content when zoomed to 200%.
Operable
- Every control is fully keyboard operable, with a "Skip to content" link and clearly visible focus indicators throughout.
- The comparison slider works with the mouse, with touch, with the arrow / Home / End keys, and by clicking or tapping a position (no dragging is required).
- Interactive targets are at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Content scrolled to via in-page links or focus is not hidden behind the sticky header.
- Motion and animation respect your
prefers-reduced-motionsetting.
Understandable
- The page language is declared, navigation is consistent across pages, and the current page is indicated in the menus.
- Form fields have programmatically associated labels, and errors are announced.
Robust
- Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and headings structure every page.
- Scan progress and the final verdict are announced through ARIA live regions, so screen-reader users hear results without moving focus.
